The interactive workshop aims to foster cooperation between local authorities and One-Stop Shops to support energy poor households through their active involvement in energy communities.

ENEA will take part in the 2026 edition of KEY – The Energy Transition Expo, the European event dedicated to energy efficiency and renewable energy, scheduled to take place in Rimini from 4 to 6 March, with a programme of initiatives aimed at businesses, institutions, sector operators and young people.

Building development is an important opportunity, but also an unavoidable task in amidst of the climate change challenges and impacts. Local municipalities have an important role to play in this, but they usually need support. We have designed our program to provide practical support in the most significant areas: financing and establishing an appropriate professional foundation.

The webinar themed, ‘Turning Energy Poverty Indicators into Local Renovation Support (EPAH Technical Assistance Call)’, is focused on translating energy poverty data into practical local renovation support.

The 8th meeting of the EU Peers Hungarian community will take place after the decision-makers’ roundtable. The roundtable will be organised as a mini-conference focusing on the Hungarian implementation of the EPBD, the EU directive on the energy performance of buildings.

MEHI and Energiaklub is organising a mini-conference focusing on the Hungarian implementation of the EU Directive on the Energy Performance of Buildings (EPBD).

Across Belgium, multiple initiatives are being developed in parallel to finance housing retrofits for both homebuyers (purchase + renovation) and existing homeowners (renovation only). Many of these projects are interdependent, yet teams often work separately, leading to duplication of effort and slower progress. With Belgian Peers, we want to bring the ecosystem together and create clarity.

Supporting energy renovations in condominiums is a true challenge for One-Stop Shops (OSS). Fragmented ownership, complex decision-making, and diverse stakeholders require specific approaches.

The aim of the regular online networking meeting is to gain insights into the one-stop shop landscape in Germany and to learn about experiences gained by one-stop shops and supporting organisations so far. Above all, the focus is on how the EU Peers Community of Practice with its European focus can support municipalities and other interested stakeholders in Germany.

Learn how to align the many actors in home renovation so homeowners experience a smooth, high-quality journey from first contact to completed works. Each session combines a short input with an interactive workshop where you apply the concepts to your own context and exchange with peers facing similar challenges. We’ll keep the lens on the homeowner journey while making roles, responsibilities, and handovers clear across the value chain.

This event will provide a platform for sharing knowledge, best practices, and innovative solutions in engaging low income and first-time buyers in the green transition and home renovation works.

The final event of the RenoWave project will present the project’s key results and explore how extended one-stop-shop (OSS) services can help implement the revised Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) in practice. A particular focus will be placed on practical guidance for improving energy performance in multi-apartment buildings, from first steps to implementation on the ground.

Learn about different activation methods to successfully reach out to homeowners with your one-stop shop and be empowered to test these methods afterwards on your own. Exchange with a group of peers facing similar challenges and use the opportunity to continue the exchange within the group even after the end of the learning lab. Each session consists of an input and an interactive workshop part during which participants apply the method. All sessions will be from the perspective of the ‘customers’ of one-stop shops to focus on the right mindset.

The workshop will feature speakers from the Italian Ministry and members of the Italian partnership of the EU Peers project. The event will also welcome the National Community of Practice for One-Stop Shops, established within the EU Peers initiative.

The Spanish EU Peers Community invites you to attend its ninth online meeting, focused on ensuring the quality of renovation works, providing services and guarantees after the works and follow-up results. Four members of EU Peers will share their experiences, followed by rounds of debate and questions and answers.

The fifth meeting of the EU Peers consortium members will take place in Hungary. Over the two-day event, advocacy activities, policy framework, policy debates will be discussed in detail to make the uptake of OSS more effective at national and EU levels. The mentoring programme will also be negotiated - to help emerging OSS develop and to enable municipalities to launch one-stop shop advisory services. Financial products developed for energy renovations will be also among the topics discussed, along with the related train-the-trainer programme. Further topics will include communication, survey and capacity building.

As the opportunities of IHRS for single family homes and multi-apartment houses in Hungary are very different, the meeting will be divided into three parts: the first section will be dedicated to OSS providers and supporters for family houses, the second section will be a common part and the last section will deal with the problems and opportunities of multi-apartment buildings. At the beginning of the 7th Hungarian community meeting, after introducing the new members, the community will discuss the updated grant programme supporting the renovation of single-family homes.

This Learning Lab focused on how One-Stop Shops (OSS) can effectively monitor and demonstrate their impact on building renovation. As OSS initiatives expand across Europe, the ability to collect consistent data and define clear indicators becomes essential to measure their contribution to energy savings, CO₂ emission reductions, and social outcomes such as reducing energy poverty.

Hosted by Regione Piemonte, this Learning Lab explored how multilevel governance can strengthen the effectiveness and scale of one-stop shops (OSS) supporting building renovation. Participants examined coordination models between national, regional, and local authorities, as well as operational OSS implementations. Key insights emphasised the need for shared ownership, stable financing, clear regulatory frameworks, and structured collaboration. The sessions highlighted that well-designed multilevel systems can accelerate renovation impact when supported by trusted intermediaries and formal commitments.

Together with CINEA, EU Peers is organising a practitioners’ workshop in Brussels for One-Stop Shops and supporters. On 14 October, we are offering the opportunity for hands-on exchange, knowledge sharing, and EU policy updates. Participation is on invitation.
