8th Hungarian community meeting

The 8th meeting of the EU-Peers Hungarian community took place after the decision-makers’ roundtable. The roundtable was organised as a mini-conference focusing on the Hungarian implementation of the EPBD, the EU directive on the energy performance of buildings.

The community meeting started after the conference and, beyond current issues related to single-family houses and multi-apartment buildings, primarily focused on discussing One-Stop-Shop (OSS) proposals based on the lessons learned from the mini-conference. In particular, participants reviewed which proposals resonated with decision-makers, which ones require further elaboration, and what additional arguments are needed to convince policymakers of the importance of scaling up one-stop advisory services.

The meeting also addressed the Budapest Green Panel Programme, as the programme is being launched in District X, and valuable practical experience may already have been gained in this context. In addition, the municipal mentoring programme was briefly discussed.
