Impala is a firm composed of technical architects and building engineers. This successful IHRS from Spain is specialized in building renovation and historical restoration. Since 2018, it has completed over 100 projects, expanding into integrated construction through its subsidiary, Ikaro Construcción. A leader in energy-efficient renovation in the Canary Islands, Impala now focuses on revitalizing unused buildings across the region.

Our most recent EU Peers “Who is Who” event was a hit, and we are thrilled to see that the number of our participants is growing! This time we headed to the southeast of Ireland to spotlight the inspiring work of the South East Energy Agency! SEEA is a regional Integrated Home Renovation Service Provider, operating across Kilkenny and Waterford. Though officially established as an OSS only in 2022/2023, their journey in energy-efficient renovation dates back to 2018 - and their impact is impressive. What made this session exciting? We are at a crucial moment for its take-off: the end of the Next-Generation Program for renovation in Spain is approaching, and we must plan the future of the sector so that it is consolidated beyond public subsidies.

The first EU Peers "Who is Who" session featured Energiehuis Limburg, a leading one-stop-shop for home energy renovations in Belgium. Since 2009, they have played a key role in making buildings more energy-efficient, completing 1,500 renovations in 2023 alone. In this 30-minute session, Energiehuis shared insights into their journey, public-private partnerships, and the challenges they’ve overcome to achieve impactful results.

In this episode of #RenoChats, Stéphanie Flacher, former BNP Paribas executive and member of the #FIDEOBRE – Banque de la Rénovation Énergétique team, shares insights into how banks can support and finance large-scale energy renovations.
