In September, our guest was KLIK Energy Cooperative.
Križevci, a small town in northwestern Croatia with a population of nearly 20,000, opened its One-Stop Shop in 2024.
The model is unique – it is Croatia’s first cooperative-run One-Stop Shop for home energy renovation and citizen-led energy projects. Initiated by the City of Križevci and operated by the KLIK Energy Cooperative, the One-Stop Shop helps residents renovate their homes, install solar panels and join local energy communities.
The mission is simple but powerful: help the community become climate-neutral and resilient, and make everyday life more comfortable, affordable, and sustainable. In 2025, this citizen-driven approach was recognised with the Climate Star Award from Climate Alliance for outstanding local energy action.
