7th Hungarian community meeting

7th Hungarian community meeting

As the opportunities of IHRS for single family homes and multi-apartment houses in Hungary  are very different, the meeting will be divided into three parts: the first section will be dedicated to OSS providers and supporters for family houses, the second section will be a common part and the last section will deal with the problems and opportunities of multi-apartment buildings. At the beginning of the 7th Hungarian community meeting, after introducing the new members, the community will discuss the updated grant programme supporting the renovation of single-family homes.

In the second part, we will explore in depth a topic that concerns every OSS: the certification and qualification of contractors and OSSs. In Hungary, the Nyugodt Építkezés Információs Iroda (Calm Construction Information Centre) has been evaluating construction companies for about twenty years and is now launching a new programme. Its director will present their operations and their plans, after which the community members can ask questions and share their experience of selecting reliable subcontractors.

In the third part, the project leader will present the recent EU Peers highlights (the summit, the campaign for cities and regions, the study visit, policy debates, and roundtables for market players), and then the new Budapest subsidy for panel buildings which will be launched soon. After the meeting, there will be an opportunity to join the EU PEERS consortium partners for an informal gathering, as the Budapest project meeting begins the following day.
