
Transnational Community Autumn Meeting: How can one-stop shops engage with (low-income) first-time buyers?
This event will provide a platform for sharing knowledge, best practices, and innovative solutions in engaging low income and first-time buyers in the green transition and home renovation works. It will showcase how one-stop shops (OSS) are driving real-world impact in residential energy renovations. Attendees will have the chance to explore real world examples of OSS demonstrating how to support low-income first time buyers.
Purpose: The purpose is to provide solutions continent wide to one of the biggest challenges of one OSS, to include low-income household in the energy transition. By offering practical tools and funding strategies (by Ecovision and Onesto), the webinar aims to equip OSS with resources to reach low-income firs-time buyers. The focus is on ensuring that home renovation works is accessible for people from poorer socio-economic backgrounds.
Target group: The event is designed for one-stop shops, energy agencies and organisations committed to break down the barriers to participate in home renovation works seeking to conduct a just and fair energy transition targeting households with poor-socioeconomic background.

Why attend?
2 one-stop shops will provide their insights on how they are supporting (low-income) first time buyers:
- Onesto, Belgium, will show us how, despite the fact that low-income buyers are usually excluded from the majority of funding options for homeowners (e.g. loans), it is possible to break the cycle perpetuating poor living conditions, high energy bills and energy poverty and create accessible solutions for home renovation works.
- Ecovision, Ireland, will show us how, through sustainable practices, financial support, and education, that the mission to eliminate energy poverty is possible.
