The 6th Hungarian community meeting will host 8-10 new OSS supporters from the bank sector, from the media and NGO sector - so it is essential to introduce the new members, and outlinine the aims, activities and plans of the EU Peers initiative, as well as to showcase our internal platform, HumHub.

This webinar is to mark World Green Building Week 2025 and is in collaboration with the Irish Green Building Council. The aim is to explore the latest in sustainable building and energy efficiency.

Digitalization is no longer a choice — it’s a necessity. Behind every successful home energy renovation project lies a strong digital backbone: tools that simplify project planning, streamline communication, and enhance client experience. But which digital tools are OSS actually using? And how do they support their mission?

Session 1: The quality approach to renovation within the SERAFIN network - reference framework and control matrix. The first session will describe how to create a common and shared reference for the stakeholders and a process to control quality of work. The session, led by Antoine Hervé (Pouget Consultants) will be based on an interactive methodology and use the SERAFIN example.

The meeting will be an opportunity to explore, together with Adrien Bullier of CINEA (European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency), the European Commission Agency which manages the European Programmes (LIFE, Horizon Europe), the indications of the European directives on the theme of One-Stop Shops (OSS), discovering what models currently exist in Europe.

This session, led by Stéphanie Flacher (FilaoLabs) will be centered on the impact of quality of work to ease the financing of the projects by the banks.

The second session described why low energy consumption buildings (BBC) are a key issue for the success of the renovation sector. Main topics in this session held by Fabien Vigier (DOREMI) was about how these buildings can be achieved in several stages, but also what measurement tools are needed.

This event is designed to equip industry professionals with a clear understanding of available funding schemes and technical supports to assist clients in delivering high-impact energy retrofit projects. Gain key insights, practical guidance on navigating grant applications, and expert tips on how to maximise energy efficiency outcomes.

The aim of this learning lab is to share and disseminate best practices for more quality in renovation projects as well limitations on this issue. Discussions in the learning lab will be focus on the financial consequences of non-quality, as well as access to finance, particularly from banks. Finally, this learning lab wants to initiate an EU-wide consideration of how to implement standard elements of a common quality control reference system.

The SERAFIN Association and the EU Peers community are looking forward to meeting you on 6 June to discuss the renovation of private housing and take stock of the current dynamics. This annual event with all the leaders of the stakeholders of the renovation market in France is a special occasion to exchange, learn and discuss together the conditions how to go faster and wider in the search of solutions for our global engagement.

How will the two European directives, EED & EPBD, impact the one-stop shop landscape in Europe? What is expected of the member states for the transposition of the directive? Conceived as a practitioner’s briefing, we will launch our policy series in EU Peers with an update on European policy, focusing on what it means for one-stop shop practitioners. The aim of this session is to inform about the European framework formally introducing the one-stop shop concept. Current funding opportunities of LIFE will be presented, too. Moreover, the session provides the opportunity to ask questions and exchange with peers about needed framework conditions. This is the first in a series of policy-focused online events, starting at the EU level and continuing later in national communities.

The upcoming implementation of the two European directives EED and EPBD will have an impact on the landscape of one-stop shops for residential energy renovation. What is the current situation in Germany? How is the OSS concept being implemented in other countries and how could a German group/network of interested parties support each other?

One-Stop Shops (OSS) aim to make home renovation simple and attractive. But how can they themselves draw attention to their offers in a convincing way? The theme of the EU Peers Transnational Community SPRING‘25 meeting is “OSS promotional campaigning”. We collect ideas and cool formats on how to onboard citizens and learn together what is possible (and attractive!). We will have the Energiecentrale Gent and [potentially EOS: RenovAcción] as guests, and also invite participants to share their inspirations. Bring good ones! The aim of this webinar is to educate homeowners, communities, and stakeholders on the available energy grants for home retrofits, helping them access financial support to improve energy efficiency, reduce carbon footprints, and enhance climate resilience. This webinar will create awareness about the EU Peers Project, encourage participants to join the CoP, highlight the role of home retrofits in climate action, emphasising their impact on lowering emissions, reducing energy costs, and improving comfort and health in homes. Join us on Monday, 7th April, from 11:30 to 12:00 CET for a quick, insightful 30-minute online meeting with our spanish guest: Impala projects. This successful IHRS from Spain is a technical architecture and engineering firm specializing in building renovation and historical restoration. Since 2018, it has completed over 100 projects, expanding into integrated construction through its subsidiary, Ikaro Construcción. A leader in energy-efficient renovation in the Canary Islands, Impala now focuses on revitalizing unused buildings across the region.

This will be our face-to-face meeting of the year and, as well as meeting other IHRS, we will be working to develop a report for the National Building Renovation Plan. Therefore, we will focus on successful Business Models. We will analyse together which ones exist, their scalability and what are their success factors.

One-stop shops for the energy performance of buildings are considered essential to achieve the objective of a completely decarbonised European building stock by 2050.The aim of the meeting is therefore to discuss with the participants the indications of the directives, to present Italian case studies of one-stop shops already operating and to open a debate to identify the main challenges and opportunities with regard to the Italian implementation of the directive.

We are launching a new series of short web-meetings where we will present one One-Stop Shop for home energy renovation and its team. Each month, in only 30 minutes, you will discover who is who in EU Peers! Our first guest? Energiehuis – a regional One-Stop Shop operating in the Province of Limburg in Belgium.

The 4 th Hungarian community meeting will host 5-6 new members that is why an important issue will be introducing the new members, outlining the aims, activities and plans of EU-Peers project and showing the use of HumHub. The project leader will show the result of a new study about good practice cases about Ireland, France and Austria supporting their one-stop shop networks. At the second part of the meeting we will discuss actual renovation issues and cooperation opportunities, like new and planned renovation subsidies, requirements for OSS, joint communication opportunities and decarbonization in energy poor households.

All Integrated Home Renovation Service (IHRS) providers, at some point in their lives, are facing the difficult question: How can they ensure the financial sustainability of their model? The question becomes even more burning when the IHRS provider is successfully operating thanks to EU grants that will eventually stop. Or, when public subsidies are not sufficient anymore and the provider wants to diversify and increase its revenues.

The objective is to introduce the community, connect, and align on our shared goals for the coming months as the kick-off of the Baltic Community of Practice!

On 14 November 2024, from 2-5 pm, the third Active Learning workshop of the "Roberto Moneta Summer School” on energy efficiency will take place in the City Council Hall of Milan, organized by EU Peers project partner ENEA in collaboration with ANCI.
