Record number of members attended the gathering

An important gathering took place on 12 February 2026 in Hungary, where representatives from politics and the construction sector came together to explore how energy efficiency policies can be strengthened in the country.

On January 29th, ENEA will present the results of EU PEERS project at KLIMAHOUSE 2026, the International Fair for Sustainable Construction and Energy Efficiency, taking place in Bolzano, Italy, from January 28th to 31st.

11 partners are behind the Community of Practice EU Peers, supporting the one-stop shop development to boost residential energy renovation across Europe. The consortium met for the fifth time to discuss the status of ongoing activities and plan future activities. During the two-day gathering in Budapest, organised by Energiaklub Climate Policy Institute and held at the headquarters of Velux Hungary on Andrássy Avenue (which was awarded the title of Office of the Year), the partners had the opportunity to coordinate national and European developments supporting one-stop shops.

In the framework of EU PEERS project activities, on December 1st, ENEA and Piedmont Region organized a National Policy Workshop dedicated to the role and evolution of One-Stop Shops (OSS) in Italy.

The Third National Conference on Sustainable Development, held in Rome from the 1st to 3rd of December 2025, offered a crucial platform for institutions, civil society, businesses, and research organisations to discuss the country’s progress toward the UN 2030 Agenda. Among the most active and engaging moments of the event was the thematic laboratory “Welfare energetico-climatico & Povertà energetica”, where the EU Peers project was presented as an innovative European initiative supporting local authorities and communities in accelerating the energy transition.

The seventh meeting of Hungarian one-stop shop (abbreviation: OSS) advisors and the organisations supporting them took place on 19 November 2025, organised by Energiaklub. Among the 13 participants were one-stop shop advisors specialised in the renovation of single-family homes and multi-apartment buildings, as well as companies and organisations that support OSS providers with financial advice, research, and media visibility.
