A report from the “Learn & Share” marketplace at the CAIC'25 in Cologne – EU Peers had an interactive booth (featuring LEGO®) on what OSS are, how they can ideally be, and what our community can offer!
A moment between players that shows a sector that is united and committed to a fast- growing market, both qualitative and quantitative, which will benefit from the emergence of a financing structure dedicated to renovation and adaptation: FIDEO- Banque de la Rénovation Energétique.
In June 2025, the Sportello Energia Piemonte launched a new digital communication campaign aimed at increasing public awareness of energy efficiency, sustainability, and the services available through the regional energy helpdesk. Running through to fall 2025, the campaign takes a modern, engaging approach through the use of short, accessible video content distributed on institutional social media channels and as targeted web advertisements.
On 9 July 2025 took place with great participation the webinar "From the Directive to the implementation: recommendations for the implementation of One-stop shop for energy renovation", organised by ENEA and Regione Piemonte, within the Italian community of EU Peers.
The new LIFE call again supports the creation or replication of One-Stop Shops (OSS), offering integrated services for clean energy transition in private residential buildings.
On 27 May 2025, The Belgian Peers, an associated network of EU Peers, was launched during a half-day event in Zaventem, close to Brussels. Hosted by Buildwise, a Belgian innovation center for construction, the event attracted around 50 participants willing to be part of the historic moment. In several workshop rounds topics like innovative financing solutions to promote through One-Stop Shops (OSS), cooperation with the building sector, and effective renovation advice were addressed. 
Despite the undeniable benefits of deep home renovations—lower emissions, better health, improved comfort—the pace of adoption remains far too slow. Financial barriers, lack of trust, and fragmented governance continue to hinder progress. The recent EU Peers policy paper sheds light on how to turn this around: by promoting innovative financing, leveraging Integrated Home Renovation Services (IHRS), and establishing supportive policy frameworks that make renovations accessible and impactful. These recommendations form a practical and scalable strategy to turn energy efficiency into the new norm—across all income levels and housing types.
On 9 May, Energiaklub organised the fifth Hungarian EU Peers community meeting, bringing together 14 professionals from across the one-stop shop (OSS) ecosystem. Participants included providers focused on single-family and multi-apartment buildings, as well as organisations supporting OSSs through finance, research, and international projects.
From the 24th to the 26th of June, thousands of actors in the field of energy transition will gather in Strasbourg for the 26th edition of the Assises Européennes de la Transition Énergétique. On this occasion, EU Peers had been chosen to lead a one-hour workshop discussing the solutions offered by European cooperation for One-Stop Shops. The workshop will take place from 10:00 to 11:00 CET on June 25th at the Palais de la Musique et des Congrès of Strasbourg.
