At the end of June 2026, the EU Peers consortium partners met in Besançon (France) for the final project meeting. It was time to look back at the last three years of the EU Peers community building, celebrate the successes, and think of what could be done better because… EU Peers continues! From September 2026 until August 2029, the renewed consortium, covering more EU countries (Croatia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Poland, Belgium, Germany) will support our community of One-Stop Shops and make it grow.

EU Peers was presented as a European best practice at CETIF 2026, showcasing the growing role of One-Stop Shops in accelerating home energy renovation across Europe.

With the new LIFE call 2026, in particular the topic LIFE-2026-CET-OSS, the European Commission takes a decisive step forward: shifting expectations from basic advisory One-Stop Shop services to end-to-end solutions that actively drive renovation and clean energy investments.

The European Commission’s Recommendation (EU) 2026/536 sets out clear guidance for Member States to scale up One-Stop Shops as a cornerstone of effective and inclusive renovation strategies.

The new edition of the EU Peers survey, “Insights from One-Stop Shops in Europe,” is now open. It invites organisations across Europe to share their experience and help shape the future of home energy renovation services.
