A moment between players that shows a sector that is united and committed to a fast-growing market, both qualitative and quantitative, which will benefit from the emergence of a financing structure dedicated to renovation and adaptation: FIDEO- Banque de la Rénovation Energétique.

EU Peers France, associated with the SERAFIN network (Third-Party Financing Companies), welcomed the players in the energy renovation market at Saint-Gobain on 6 June 2025 for its annual working day.

All of the participants are part of this fast-growing market, very collaborative with each other, and this annual event provided an opportunity to take stock of the progress and limits of the systems in place, the innovative proposals of the players, and structuring projects, such as the emergence of FIDEO-BRE, the Energy Renovation Bank.

This year's meeting also made it possible to note the vitality of the EU Peers movement: the association of MARs (Accompagnateurs Rénovation - One-Stop Shops) has decided to join the EU Peers movement, thus joining the major players in the Integrated Home Renovation Services (IHRS) already members.

The EU Peers France meeting associated with the SERAFIN Association was hosted by Saint-Gobain at their headquarters in La Défense, Paris.

The invited representative from the European level, through CINEA – (European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency), insisted on the essential development of One-Stop Shops (OSS) for the implementation of the EPBD (Energy Performance of Buildings Directive).

Climate Alliance, EU Peers lead partner, gave a presentation on the development of the EU Peers initiative in France and Europe, materialized on the same day by the signing of a partnership with the MAR community allowing us to welcome +/- 200 additional OSS within our network.

Filao Labs (EU Peers partner in France) then led the session on the topics of financing and FIDEOBRE, the Energy Renovation Bank, presented the project in all its ambition and detailing the functional specifications of the software that will drive this activity.

Oktave, European Investment Bank (EIB) and Societe Generale then discussed the advantages of this approach and the interest of the Renovation Account as a pre-financing instrument for the needs related to the renovation project before the payment of aid and subsidies.

Two organisations then received the first EU Peers MERCIs (THANK YOUs) designed to celebrate the contributions for all of certain organisations:

- Action Tank for their work on raising the height as a tool for financing renovation, awarded by VINCI Immobilier,
- Ithaque for their work on green value awarded by Societe Generale.

The lunch together allowed the meeting to become an even more fruitful exchange between the participants.

The afternoon began with the Anah (National Agency for Housing Improvement) on the issues related to the distribution of state subsidies.

The BIG MERCI (THANK YOU) for the renovation was awarded to Franck BILLEAU (ECO HABITAT NETWORK) for his tireless action in favour of the most disadvantaged.

FilaoLabs and POUGET Consultants presented the stages of the development of a network of qualitative integrator operators allowing them to have the authorization to distribute FIDEOBRE credits.

CABESTAN presented the example of Activity and Employment Cooperatives also committed to these qualitative approaches, an essential quality for the success of the objectives of reducing consumption, and therefore, greenhouse gases. This quality is included in the SERAFIN standard and its quality controls.

Urbanis (IHRS), Marsh (Insurance company), and Hauts-de-France Pass Rénovation / Pass Copropriété (IHRS) debated the operationality of the quality standards and approaches, as well as their impact on the insurability of the work carried out.

The day ended with the presentation of the MERCI "Development of the offer to Asder to, with La Solive and other partners in the FARE programme - boost the arrival of new qualified professionals, essential for the growth of the market but also the control of the inflationary temptations observed in recent years.

Conclusion/Ending

An important and joyful moment for professionals in the sector as part of the launch of FIDEO-BRE!!
