Driving Sustainable Housing Solutions by EAP

The Energy Agency of Plovdiv (EAP), a member of the EU Peers Community, is leading the charge for sustainable and energy-efficient housing renovations in the Plovdiv Region, Bulgaria. Through the MultiHome project and its first Residential Renovation Expo, EAP has brought together homeowners, authorities, and industry professionals to tackle challenges in housing renovation and implement innovative solutions. The Project focuses on fostering collaboration, as well as sharing expertise, and promoting advanced energy-efficient technologies.

1. MultiHome Integrated Home Renovation Service

The MultiHome project, led by the Energy Agency of Plovdiv, seeks to establish a collaborative, customer-centered housing renovation service. By engaging homeowners with first-hand renovation experience, the project identifies critical barriers such as administrative bureaucracy, funding challenges, and building trust within multi-family units. These insights guide the development of practical tools, including a one-stop-shop renovation hub offering expert advice and support. 2. Plovdiv Residential Renovation Expo

The Residential Renovation Expo, hosted by the Energy Agency of Plovdiv, introduced over 500 homeowners to cutting-edge technologies and sustainable practices. Highlights included live demonstrations of drone-based thermal imaging, Passivhaus materials, and PV system installation techniques. The Expo also marked the launch of the MultiHome Service Hub, which provided consultations and inspired collaborative renovation projects.
