One-stop shops for the energy performance of buildings are considered essential to achieve the objective of a completely decarbonised European building stock by 2050.The aim of the meeting is therefore to discuss with the participants the indications of the directives, to present Italian case studies of one-stop shops already operating and to open a debate to identify the main challenges and opportunities with regard to the Italian implementation of the directive.

The 4 th Hungarian community meeting will host 5-6 new members that is why an important issue will be introducing the new members, outlining the aims, activities and plans of EU-Peers project and showing the use of HumHub. The project leader will show the result of a new study about good practice cases about Ireland, France and Austria supporting their one-stop shop networks. At the second part of the meeting we will discuss actual renovation issues and cooperation opportunities, like new and planned renovation subsidies, requirements for OSS, joint communication opportunities and decarbonization in energy poor households.

Running until the 18th of December 2024, the 7th – and last – call for applications of the European City Facility - financed by the LIFE CET programme - offers financial and technical support to 71 local governments across the European Union, Ukraine and Iceland.
Recent studies show that buildings account for about 40% of the EU's CO2 emissions over their life cycle. To meet climate and energy targets, sustainable building renovation is essential. EU Peers contributes to it by fostering collaboration among Integrated Home Renovation (IHRS) providers and supporters.
On October 24th, the third meeting of the Spanish EU Peers Community was held at the National Congress of Advanced Renovation REBUILD REHABILITA.
On 9 October 2024, the Ēku saglabāšanas un energotaupības birojs (Ēkubirojs) joined the International Conference on Energy Efficiency in Domestic Appliances and Lighting (EEDAL’24) in Japan.
The EU Peers initiative is currently running a survey to map One-Stop-Shops (OSS) and show their impacts at EU-level. As of mid-October, 53 organisations already responded to the survey including 38 OSS.
Our third project meeting, held in Rome, coincided with the first birthday of EU Peers, which was a good opportunity for the consortium to look back and assess what we have implemented so far. We also planned the year ahead.
EU Peers has recently developed a Knowledge Hub, a platform gathering valuable results and knowledge from various projects or contexts, including EU Peers’ outcomes and results.
Exiting news: the LAST call of the European City Facility (EUCF) is finally open!
EU Peers highly recommends the Master Class on One-Stop-Shops (OSS) for residential retrofit, organised by our sister project ManagEnergy.
