The Energy Poverty Observatory (EPOV) provides data, resources, and insights into energy poverty across Europe. It aims to assist policymakers, researchers, and stakeholders in understanding the scope and nature of energy poverty. EPOV includes a collection of data, reports, and case studies—best practices and policies to combat energy poverty and enhance energy access for vulnerable populations.

An extensive resource offering data on building characteristics, energy performance, and renovation activities across Europe to support informed energy efficiency decisions.

Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is key to ensuring that holistic renovations are genuinely sustainable. While improving energy efficiency is crucial—like better insulation or heating upgrades—LCA helps us look beyond just immediate energy savings and consider the full environmental impact of the renovation, including the production, transportation, use, and disposal of materials. For EU-PEERS.EU members, this means making renovation choices that not only save energy today but also reduce waste and emissions throughout a building's entire life cycle, ensuring that every decision benefits both comfort and the planet in the long term.
