Condominium renovation remains one of Europe’s most complex and least addressed challenges. Fragmented ownership structures, complex collective decision-making, and significant technical and financial barriers make this segment particularly difficult to tackle. In this context, one-stop shops (OSS) are more necessary than anywhere else in the building sector.
For over a decade, EBC and UIPI have been working on the development and deployment of OSS to support renovation. Four years ago, this effort evolved into a structured collaboration with TU Delft, Embuild, municipalities across Flanders, and partners in the Netherlands and Paris (Agence Parisienne du Climat), to design and test OSS models tailored to the specific challenges of condominiums.
This event marks the build on that work: it provides an opportunity to present key lessons learned, share practical experience, and engage with key actors across the sector. It is not the end of the process, but the beginning of a new phase of discussion, refinement, and scaling up of solutions across Europe.
