Energy communities are becoming more involved in citizen engagement, local energy services and, in some cases, home renovation. At the same time, One-Stop Shops (OSS), local authorities and energy agencies are often operating in the same territories and addressing closely related renovation challenges.
This opens up opportunities for cooperation, but also raises a simple question: Who does what? In some scenarios, their roles can overlap, especially around advice, awareness raising, identifying renovation needs, and supporting households through the renovation process.

In this session, through 2 different study cases from Italy and Spain, we will look at how these actors can work together in practice, with clear and complementary roles. ‍

Join us for this lessons-learned session! You will have the opportunity to engage, ask questions, and reflect on how these insights can inform our OSS practice across Europe!

Why attend?

  • Hear two practical examples of cooperation between energy communities, OSS and local authorities;
  • Compare different ways of dividing roles and responsibilities;
  • Exchange challenges and experiences with peers from other countries;
  • Identify ideas that could be relevant for participants’ own OSS or renovation ecosystems.
